The point is, the president of the United States has decided to ignore the constitution and bypassed senate rules to make appointments which are, of course, questionable.
Senators from both parties — including Democrats in 2007 and 2008, when Mr. Obama was in the Senate — have said it takes a recess of at least three days before the president can use his appointment powers.
The president stated in an Ohio speech:
“I refuse to take ‘no’ for an answer,” Mr. Obama said in Shaker Heights, drawing applause from his audience. “When Congress refuses to act and as a result hurts our economy and puts our people at risk, then I have an obligation as president to do what I can without them.”
Since when does the President care about the economy when the unemployment rate is 8.5% of those who are counted, (and that number does not include people who have given up looking for a job) and we are trillions in debt? He has been the obstructionist when it comes to job creation, hamstringing small business with taxes and unconstitutional regulations.
Now you left wingers out there say - good - bypass the obstructionists in congress - but what you uninformed people don't know is that THE SENATE HAS THE MAJORITY SO HIS OWN PARTY IS VOTING AGAINST HIM - how about that! Did anyone find out why these appointees are being filibustered? All you can say is obstructionists? Where were you all when this was happening to Bush? Hypocrites is the answer.
We need to defeat President Obama in 2012 and rid ourselves of the democrats in Congress to save the United States from people like these who are trying to nullify our Constitution and who have succeeded in bankrupting our great nation. They are totally clueless about how to run a nation and all they seem to care about is their power and how they can steal more money from taxpayers so they can get their monthly vacations and perks of the job.
